Before launching a successful career as a Physician’s Assistant in the field of plastic surgery, Trevor Schmidt earned his Bachelor of Science from the California State University, Northridge. Due to his outstanding academic performance, he became a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. Trevor Schmidt was a four-year varsity athlete on the university’s soccer team and in 1998, he was selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player. He then moved to Bay Shore, New York, where he attended Touro College to complete his postgraduate work to become a Physician’s Assistant. Over the next few years, Mr. Schmidt garnered valuable experience in Orthopedic Surgery; in 2006, he began studying cosmetic medicine.
Trevor Schmidt relocated to Beverly Hills, California, where he performed in excess of 5,000 liposculpture and liposuction procedures on high-profile patients such as Hollywood stars, Saudi royalty, NBA executives, and movie producers. In 2010, he moved to Henderson, Nevada, where he began working with MyShape Liposculpture Specialists. Currently he serves as the clinic’s Chief of Surgery.
A dedicated humanitarian, Trevor Schmidt brought his skills to Haiti following a massive 8.1 magnitude earthquake in 2010. He spent a week in Port Au Prince, where his team performed more than 30 surgeries. Trevor Schmidt also provides support to the Gastric Cancer Research Fund, Opportunity Village, and Speedway Charities.
Trevor Schmidt is licensed to work in Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. He has received board certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Over the course of his career, he has written and collaborated on many liposuction training manuals. Trevor Schmidt and his wife have two sons. He believes that it is important to remain physically active, and he spends his free time surfing, biking, mountain climbing, playing soccer, basketball, and snowboarding.
